How to do the slewing ring bearing lubrication?

When the slewing bearing leaves the factory, a small amount of grease is applied to the raceway. Before use, the user should refill with new grease according to different working conditions.

 

Notice:

1. Clean the tooth surface, apply or spray grease to completely cover the tooth surface of the pinion and ring gear.

Lubrication cycle

 

● Daily lubrication

 

 

The slewing bearing raceway should be filled with grease regularly. It is recommended to use it for 50 hours for the first time, and check it every 100 hours thereafter.

 

In tropical areas, areas with high humidity, dust, large temperature changes and continuous operation, the lubrication cycle should be shortened. The reference standard of lubrication cycle is as follows:

 

 

1. Dry and clean occasions (rotary table, robot, etc.)

 

Every 300 hours worked, or every 6 months

 

2. Outdoor environment (cranes, aerial work vehicles, etc.)

 

Every 100~200 hours worked, or every 4 months

 

3. Harsh climatic environments (such as oceans, mountains, deserts, etc.)

 

Every 50 hours worked, or every 2 months

 

4. Extreme conditions (tunnels, steel mills, wind power, etc.)

Note: Before filling the grease nipple or connecting pipe, the plastic plug or screw plug should be removed from the oil hole). When injecting grease, turn the slewing bearing slowly so that the grease is filled evenly.

The sealing strip of the slewing bearing is mainly used for dust prevention, and the pressure is not large. The flushing water easily passes through the gap, enters the raceway of the slewing bearing, and brings in impurities, which will dilute the grease, destroy the lubrication state, and cause failures such as wear, jitter and abnormal noise.
